# FAQ

## General

    Yes. The Free plan is free forever with no credit card required. It includes up to 8 teams, 1 tournament, and 10 scrims per month. Paid plans unlock higher limits and additional features like match channels and role sync.

  <Accordion title="What game does extratime support?">
    extratime is built specifically for Rainbow Six Siege. All features — operator preferences, rank tracking, map pools — are tailored to R6.

  <Accordion title="Do my players need to create accounts?">
    No separate account is needed. Players sign in with their existing Discord account. That's it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I use extratime in multiple servers?">
    Yes. Each server is independent — you can be a player in one server and an admin in another. Teams, ELO, and data are all per-server.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens if I remove the bot?">
    Your data is preserved. Re-adding the bot to the same server restores access to all existing teams, matches, and tournaments.

## Billing

  <Accordion title="What happens when I cancel?">
    Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, the server reverts to the Free plan. No data is deleted.

  <Accordion title="Can I switch plans mid-cycle?">
    Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period.

## Technical

  <Accordion title="Why can't the bot assign a role?">
    The bot's role must be **above** the target role in Discord's role hierarchy. Go to Server Settings → Roles and drag the extratime role higher. Also ensure the role isn't a managed/integration role (like Nitro Booster).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why isn't my server showing up?">
    You need **Manage Server** permission in Discord to connect a server to extratime. If you have the permission and it's still not showing, try signing out and back in to refresh your server list.

  <Accordion title="Is my data secure?">
